More than 900 accepted students have indicated their commitment to attend SUNY Potsdam by submitting deposits. The group of incoming first-year students hail from across New York State and beyond. The Class of 2018 will begin classes on Sept. 1.

The SUNY Geneseo chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society recently inducted students into the organization during a campus ceremony. Juniors or seniors with a grade point average that places them in the top 15 percent of their class are eligible for membership. Inductees from this area include:

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham, located in Madison, NJ have been named to the Dean's and Honors Lists for the Fall 2013 Semester.

The following local residents are among the 327 students who graduated from SUNY Oneonta following the Fall 2013 semester. Graduates were honored at a December recognition ceremony hosted by College President Nancy Kleniewski and held in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. They also are eligible to participate in the college's commencement on May 17.

More than 200 students achieved perfect 4.0 grade point averages in the Fall 2013 semester, earning them a spot on Hofstra University's Provost's List. Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham has released the names of students that have been inducted to FDU's Phi Zeta Kappa junior honor society for the Spring 2013 semester. To qualify for Phi Zeta Kappa, a student must have completed at least the first 60 credits toward an undergraduate degree, and of these credits, 44 must have been earned at FDU and a cumulative grade point ratio of 3.2 must have been maintained for all of them.
